How to Cancel YouTube TV
The shortest way to cancel YouTube TV is to open the app or tv.youtube.com, go to Settings → Membership → Manage → Cancel membership, then confirm. You keep access through the end of your current payment period.
Cancel via Direct on the provider website
- Open the YouTube TV app or go to tv.youtube.com.
- Select your profile photo.
- Go to Settings, then Membership.
- Click Manage, then Cancel membership.
- Confirm with Cancel.
If you subscribed through a mobile carrier or internet provider
If you subscribed through a mobile carrier or internet provider (for example, Verizon), cancel through that provider, not Google.
Pausing instead of canceling
YouTube TV offers pausing, you can pause up to 6 months. The pause takes effect after the current billing cycle, you can resume anytime, and you are auto-charged at the standard price when the pause ends. Support: chat or +1 833-389-2054.
What happens after you cancel
You keep access until the end of your payment period, canceling does not remove access immediately, even during a free trial. (To remove access immediately, contact YouTube TV support.) Recorded programs in your library expire after 21 days; your library preferences are saved in case you re-sign up.
Troubleshooting
I subscribed through Verizon or another carrier
Cancel through that provider, Google cannot cancel carrier-billed memberships.
I only see “Pause” and not “Cancel”
Pause lets you hold your membership up to 6 months. To fully cancel, continue past the pause prompt to find the cancel option.
